“Virgin River” actor found dead days after being reported missing!

Posted on May 25, 2026 By admin

Virgin River actor Stewart McLean has tragically been found dead after disappearing from his home in British Columbia, with police now treating the case as a homicide investigation. He was 45.

McLean was last seen on May 15, and concern quickly grew after the dedicated actor failed to appear for a scheduled filming session — something friends said was completely unlike him. Days later, authorities discovered his remains near rail tracks close to his Squamish-area home.

Friends and colleagues are now mourning the beloved actor, remembered for roles in Virgin River, Supernatural, Arrow, and Murder in a Small Town. Acting coach Jeff Seymour described McLean as “meticulous,” “situationally aware,” and deeply respected by everyone who knew him.

Police say investigators are reviewing CCTV footage, conducting interviews, and working to piece together the actor’s final days as the homicide investigation continues.

Tributes have poured in across social media, with many remembering Stewart McLean as a talented actor, kind soul, and loyal friend taken far too soon.
