My 8-Year-Old Son Came to Me in Tears and Said, ‘You Need to Call the Police About My Nanny!’

Posted on April 12, 2025April 12, 2025 By admin

Running a business while raising a child isn’t easy. My husband and I thought hiring a nanny would help. At first, Sabrina seemed like a blessing—until the night my son came to me in tears, begging me to call the police on her.

Six months into running Beanz Bistro, life was a blur of 14-hour days. Wilfred suggested we hire help for Jay. Sabrina seemed perfect—smart, responsible, and great with kids.

At first, everything felt like it was falling into place. Jay seemed happy. The house was calm. I believed we were finally finding balance.

Then one day, Jay asked to stay home instead of being with Sabrina. When I asked why, he went quiet. Later, he broke down and told me, “She stole Dad.” He’d seen them kissing.

I was shattered.

I confronted them, catching them red-handed in our bedroom. Wilfred’s betrayal broke something in me. I asked him to leave that night. A year later, the divorce was behind us.

Jay and I were healing. The café was thriving. And Daniel—an unexpected friend who became more—reminded me that life doesn’t end after heartbreak. It changes. Sometimes painfully, sometimes beautifully.

Jay and I, we were rebuilding. Stronger, wiser. And free.
