Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have been married for five years, but Meghan was previously married to film producer Trevor Engelson. Their marriage ended in 2013 after seven years of dating and two years of marriage. They wed in Jamaica in 2011, but distance and Meghan’s rising fame on Suits strained the relationship. Reports suggest Meghan even mailed her rings back to Trevor.
Trevor, born in 1976 in New York, attended USC and started in Hollywood as a production assistant before becoming a successful producer. He worked on Remember Me, License to Wed, and Snowfall, which aired its final season recently. He runs his own production company, Underground, based in Beverly Hills.
After the split, Trevor briefly dated Bethenny Frankel, but in 2019 he married Tracey Kurland, daughter of a wealthy financier. The couple now have two daughters and live in a wealthy Los Angeles neighborhood. While Trevor was reportedly heartbroken after the divorce, friends say he’s now happier than ever and enjoying a low-key, successful life with his family — calling it the “ultimate revenge.”
