Nicholas Brendon, best known for playing Xander Harris on the hit series Buffy the Vampire Slayer, has died at 54. His family confirmed that the actor passed away in his sleep from natural causes.

Brendon became a fan favorite during the show’s seven-season run from 1997 to 2003. His former co-stars, including Sarah Michelle Gellar and Alyson Hannigan, shared emotional tributes, remembering him for his humor, talent, and friendship.

After Buffy, Brendon faced personal struggles, including battles with addiction, mental health issues, and health problems. In his later years, he focused on art and painting, sharing his creativity with fans and loved ones.

His family has asked for privacy as they mourn his loss.
