Terri Irwin Shares Encouraging Health Update on Bindi After Gala Absence
Fans were concerned when Bindi Irwin was noticeably absent from the annual Steve Irwin Gala in Las Vegas, but her family has now shared a reassuring update.
Speaking at the event, Terri Irwin revealed that her daughter is recovering well following years of battling endometriosis.
“Bindi is doing so much better now,” Terri said. “Travel is still a bit challenging for her, so she’s staying closer to home. She’ll be back with us next year.”
Robert Irwin added that although Bindi couldn’t attend, she was “with us in spirit” while continuing to care for the family’s wildlife conservation work at Australia Zoo.
Earlier this year, Bindi revealed she had undergone multiple surgeries to remove more than 50 endometriosis lesions, along with an ovarian cyst, after suffering years of debilitating pain before finally receiving a diagnosis.
Today, her family says she is recovering steadily and focusing on her health, while continuing Steve Irwin’s legacy through conservation.
