Parents Say Goodbye to Daughter After Sleepover Tragedy

Posted on August 4, 2026 By admin

Australian TV host Ally Langdon struggled to hold back tears while interviewing the parents of 13-year-old Esra Haynes, who tragically died after taking part in a dangerous social media trend known as “chroming.”

Esra was a talented young athlete with a bright future. During a sleepover, she inhaled aerosol deodorant and suffered cardiac arrest, causing irreversible brain damage.

After eight days on life support, her parents, Andrea and Paul, faced the heartbreaking decision to say goodbye to their daughter.

Now, the grieving parents are sharing Esra’s story to warn other families about the dangers of chroming and encourage parents to talk openly with their children.
