Three siblings reunite at their grandfather’s funeral, only to discover he left them the family farm—with one condition: they must all move back to take care of it. Ted, who stayed on the farm, wants to preserve their childhood home, but Jim and Rosa, having built lives elsewhere, are reluctant to return. The lawyer explains that if even one sibling refuses, the farm will be given to the state.
Ted, holding onto the memories of their past, tries to persuade them, even playing old songs on the porch with Jim and Rosa. However, they remain firm in their decision to leave. When Ted bonds with his nephew Ryan over milking goats and playing baseball, Rosa begins to reconsider. After a change of heart from both Jim and Rosa—prompted by Ryan’s wishes and Jim’s business realization—they decide to stay. The family is reunited, and the farm remains in the family, preserving their shared history.
