Tom Selleck Reveals His Big Pay Cut on Blue Bloods

Posted on August 7, 2026 By admin

Tom Selleck revealed that the cast of “Blue Bloods” agreed to major sacrifices in an effort to keep the show alive, including taking a 25% pay cut before the series was canceled.

The actor, who played Frank Reagan for 14 seasons from 2010 to 2024, said the cast and crew wanted to continue working together and were disappointed when the CBS drama ended.

Selleck called the longtime cast’s bond something rare, noting that keeping the same actors together for so many years was a major achievement. He also pointed out that the show remained highly successful, ranking among the top broadcast programs even in its final season.

Despite the cancellation, Selleck said he was grateful for the experience and praised the cast’s professionalism, saying “Blue Bloods” remained a special and enjoyable workplace.
