My Grandmother Had Twins at 56—Then Everyone Was Shocked

When my grandmother announced she was pregnant at 56, my family reacted with anger and disbelief.

My mother cried. My uncle called it humiliating. Others questioned her age and motives.

But Grandma stayed calm.

“I didn’t ask anyone else to raise them,” she said. “I only asked you not to hate me for it.”
