Nick and Emily were finally preparing for their dream wedding after years of love and several delays. Emily had become part of our family—and surprisingly, she had also become close friends with Nick’s ex, Natalie.
Everything seemed perfect until the wedding day.
Just before the ceremony, Natalie approached Nick, hugged him, and handed him a letter. “Read it and run,” she told him.
Nick read it, his face went pale, and he suddenly drove away without saying a word.
The wedding was canceled. Emily was devastated and had no idea what had happened.
