Melania Trump has made protecting and supporting her son Barron a top priority. Last fall, 18-year-old Barron left Palm Beach to attend NYU’s Stern School of Business in New York City, one of the country’s top business schools.
Donald Trump said they considered several universities, including his alma mater Wharton, but Barron ultimately chose Stern. Despite online rumors suggesting Barron was rejected by top schools like Harvard, Columbia, and Stanford, Melania has publicly denied these claims. Her spokesperson confirmed Barron never applied to Harvard, calling the rumors “completely false.”
Due to his high-profile background, Barron’s college life is far from typical. Secret Service accompanies him, and Melania noted he can’t have a “normal” experience. Still, he’s reportedly trying to make friends through online gaming on Discord, particularly via EA Sports FC 25.
According to People, Barron is well-liked and popular among his classmates. While his academic and social life remains largely private, choosing a top-tier school like Stern suggests a strong academic record.
