Donald Trump’s health has come under renewed scrutiny despite his frequent criticism of Joe Biden’s fitness for office. Since returning to the White House, Trump has faced questions about his physical condition, especially after a viral photo at a June 9 UFC event led to speculation that he was wearing a catheter.
During his latest medical exam, White House physician Dr. Sean Barbabella declared Trump “fully fit” for office, citing normal test results and good overall health. The 78-year-old, the oldest U.S. president to begin a second term, underwent a colonoscopy in 2024, revealing a benign polyp and diverticulitis.
His report noted ongoing treatments for cholesterol, heart health, and a skin condition, as well as past cataract surgery. Trump said he aced a cognitive test and passed numerous health screenings.
Still, social media users claimed the viral image suggested Trump wore a Foley catheter and had other signs of declining health. Critics cited a visible line in his pants, while defenders dismissed the claims as unfounded.
The White House denied the rumors. Spokesperson Steven Cheung called the speculation false and labeled it a smear driven by conspiracy theorists.
