When Amber Hall bought her first home in Centennial, Colorado—a four-bedroom, two-bathroom house perfect for her kids and dogs—she thought her house-hunting journey was over.
But while unpacking, her dog’s odd behavior led her to a disturbing discovery: snakes slithering up the walls.
Amber found that several large snakes, likely garter snakes, were living inside the walls—some possibly for years. So far, 10 have been removed by a professional, and the situation has cost her over $1,000.
“I’ve worked my whole life for this, and I can’t enjoy it,” she said. “I’m scared to death.”
