Alexa and Carlos PenaVega Share Heartbreaking News About Stillborn Daughter
Former child stars and married couple Alexa and Carlos PenaVega revealed that their daughter, Indy, was stillborn on April 15. In a joint Instagram post, they shared, “After a beautiful and peaceful delivery, our daughter Indy was born at rest. It has been a painful journey, but in the pain we have found peace.”
They described grief as coming in waves but said their faith and the prayers of loved ones have sustained them. “She was absolutely beautiful. And looked just like daddy,” they added. Indy was their fourth child.
Despite the heartbreak, Alexa recently celebrated Carlos’s 35th birthday with a joyful tribute, calling him an “excellent father” and praising his strength through grief. The couple made their first red carpet appearance since Indy’s passing in May to promote their new film.
In a later update, Alexa opened up about her declining health following the loss, calling it “the hardest season” they’ve faced — but also a time of deep spiritual growth and family unity. “Her life had purpose,” she said of Indy.
