Chad meets Camille in college, thinking she’s the love of his life. After marrying, they invite Camille’s French parents over for dinner, where Chad’s friend Nolan, fluent in French, overhears a shocking conversation. Later, Nolan urges Chad to check under the bed, where he finds a box of photos and letters revealing Camille’s affair. Devastated, Chad confronts Camille, who admits to the affair, claiming it was arranged by her parents for her to marry a French man. Feeling betrayed, Chad demands a divorce.
