Trump apologizes to Charlie Kirk’s widow after REFUSING her call to FORGIVE her husband’s alleged assassin

Posted on September 23, 2025 By admin

President Trump was seen calling Charlie Kirk’s widow, Erika, on stage and hugging her after she gave an incredibly emotional and heart-touching speech in front of the world at her late husband’s memorial.

Erika embraced the president, who apologized to her for refusing to join her call in forgiving a man that assassinated her partner in cold blood.

Trump delivered a fiery 45-minute eulogy to the late conservative activist who was fatally shot on September 10 while debating students at the Utah Valley University college campus.

In this speech, Trump shared the key component of Kirk’s message that he disagreed with. ‘He did not hate his opponents. He wished the best for them’- Trump mentioned regarding Kirk. And that is where the POTUS felt like he disagreed with Charlie, as Trump hated his opponent and never wanted the best for them.

‘I am sorry, I am sorry, Erika, but now Erika can talk to me, and the whole group, and maybe they can convince me that that’s not right, but I cannot stand my opponent,’- he continued.

Moments before Trump’s admission, Erika stunned the crowd by publicly offering forgiveness to her late partner’s killer. ‘He wanted to save young men just like the one that took his life’- Erika cried while sparking roars from the crowd and a huge standing ovation.
