Dick Van Dyke is nearing his 100th birthday in December and still going strong. The legendary Mary Poppins star credits his longevity to regular exercise, working out three times a week — a routine he still maintains at 99.
In a January interview, he shared, “I’ve always exercised three days a week,” adding that he even dances between machines and swims laps afterward.
Now mostly out of the spotlight, Van Dyke still lives in Malibu. Recently, a new photo of him at a gym surfaced on Instagram, posted by Rick Springfield, who praised Van Dyke’s energy and spirit.
As he hits this major milestone, Van Dyke is also releasing a new book: 100 Rules for Living to 100: An Optimist’s Guide to a Happy Life, a reflection on his remarkable life and career.
