Canada’s Carney Attacks King Charles for Silence Over Trump’s Annexation Threats

Posted on November 16, 2025 By admin

Canada’s PM Mark Carney is having a hard time dealing with President Trump’s threats about annexing the country and making it a part of the US as the 51st state.

This is why he’s not staying silent on the matter anymore and has gone as far as to call out Prince Charles for staying hush on the matter, despite it being such an important topic.

Since he took office in January, Trump kept on stating repeatedly stated how he needs Canada to become the 51st US state, and that suggestion has left so many Canadians super angry as they feel they’ve heard and seen enough.

‘Any threat to the country’s democracy will not be tolerated!’- a bold message was shared by PM Carney before his meeting to Trump, where he also made it very clear to him that Canada is not for sale.

This entire matter has left Britain trying to tread a fine line between the two North American nations.

UK’s King Charles is also the head of state for Canada as it was a former British colony. The monarch has made several symbolic gestures in recent times, wearing Canadian medals and planting several maple trees, and referring to himself as Canada’s King.
