Michael Douglas’ reaction after being told his cancer was caused from oral intimacy

Michael Douglas has always been open to the public after his life, including some very personal moments.

The celeb recently opened up to provide an explanation for the cause of his throat cancer that was diagnosed at stage four. For him, the entire matter was so shocking.

The Basin Instinct and Fatal Attraction superstar is now 80, but he’s got a long history of substance abuse, smoking, drinking, and even a reputation where he was slammed as being so obsessed with intimacy.

In 1992, he checked into rehab for addictions linked to alcohol in Arizona’s Catalina Mountains. But some speculations did speak about his treatment for addiction to intimacy.

While the celeb did deny the allegations coming in his direction, two decades later, he did make claims that brought back his past in the spotlight.

In the year 2013, he sat down for an interview with the leading media outlet The Guardian and mentioned that his cancer was caused by HPV, or human papillomavirus. This is contracted during the act of performing oral intimacy. Since then, the celeb has been advising others about the dangers linked to the condition as he doesn’t want others to go through what he did.
