Donald Trump has repeatedly clashed with female journalists, and on Monday, it happened again. The president lashed out at ABC News correspondent Rachel Scott after she asked if he would release full footage of the September 2 strike on an alleged drug-trafficking boat near Venezuela.
Scott reminded him that he previously said he had “no problem” releasing the video, but Trump denied it, calling her “obnoxious” and “a terrible reporter.” When she pushed again for a commitment, he repeated, “You’re the most obnoxious reporter in the whole place.”
The incident follows recent moments where Trump insulted other female reporters, calling one “piggy” and another “nasty” and “stupid.” Last week, he said the footage release was still “under review.”
