Influencer Amanda Cooper sparked online debate after sharing her family’s holiday photo, revealing that she and several relatives subtly flipped off the camera as a prank. The post went viral, dividing viewers.
Cooper explained that the joke was planned with a code word during the shoot and that her mother, Melynda King, was aware before it was posted. The family also took plenty of traditional photos, and the prank shot wasn’t meant to replace their holiday card.
While many praised the family’s sense of humor, others called the gesture disrespectful. Cooper said she was surprised by the backlash, stressing it was all in good fun.
Her mother confirmed they still got a proper Christmas photo—though Cooper’s father jokingly called the prank image “the best family picture we’ve ever taken.”
