Donald Trump’s health has come under renewed scrutiny as he begins his second term as the oldest U.S. president to do so. While Trump has often questioned Joe Biden’s fitness, attention has now turned to his own health after a viral photo sparked online speculation.
In April, White House physician Dr. Sean Barbabella released a medical report stating Trump is fully fit for office, citing normal scans, strong cognitive health, and an active lifestyle. The report noted past bilateral cataract surgery, a 2024 colonoscopy that revealed a benign polyp and diverticulitis, and routine medications for cholesterol, cardiac prevention, and a skin condition.
Despite the clean bill of health, a photo from a June 9 UFC event ignited rumors on social media suggesting Trump was wearing a catheter under his suit. Some users claimed the visible line on his pants was tubing, while others countered it was simply a pant crease.
Medical experts explained that Foley catheters are typically used only after surgery or when medically necessary. Fact-checking site Snopes investigated the claim, and the White House firmly denied it. Spokesperson Steven Cheung dismissed the rumors as false and politically motivated, reiterating that Trump’s recent medical report shows he is in peak condition.
