Tragic reports are speaking about the death of a loving father who was killed at the hands of his own 11-year-old son.
Sources from local media outlets shared more on this front, including how the child is now facing criminal homicide charges after he shot and killed his adoptive dad in their residence during the early hours of the morning.
The tragic incident occurred a few days back on the child’s birthday, shortly after midnight. As per the police, the child got so upset when his dad took away his Nintendo Switch and asked him to go to sleep, as it was past his bedtime.
Later during the night, the child got so upset and searched for the game console. Instead of finding that, he came across a key to a gun safe inside his father’s drawer.
He assumed that the Switch might be inside the safe, so he opened it up and found a revolver. Investigators shared that he loaded the firearm and walked to his dad’s bedroom. He shot his dad while he was fast asleep in his bed. The 42-year-old victim was found with a fatal gunshot injury to the head. The mother woke up to find her husband unresponsive, and that’s when first responders were called in, who confirmed he was dead.
