What happens if you eat two eggs a day

Posted on February 5, 2026 By admin

Eggs are a common staple and a nutritious way to start the day. They’re rich in vitamins A, D, E, B12, and folate, along with minerals like iron, zinc, iodine, and selenium.

Despite old myths, the cholesterol in eggs isn’t harmful. Experts say eggs don’t raise bad cholesterol and may even help with weight loss by keeping you fuller longer, reducing overall calorie intake.

Eating two eggs a day can support the immune system thanks to selenium, improve memory through choline, and protect eyesight with lutein. Eggs also provide vitamin D, which supports bone health, mood, and may help fight depression—especially in winter.

Additionally, eggs contain amino acids that aid cell repair and anti-aging, and antioxidants that may reduce the risk of heart disease and certain cancers. Overall, eggs can be a valuable part of a healthy, balanced diet.
