Finnian Garbutt, known for his role as Ryan Power in the BBC crime drama Hope Street, has revealed that he is battling advanced skin cancer and is now in the final stages of his life.
The 28-year-old actor shared that his cancer, first diagnosed four years ago, has spread rapidly to his liver and lungs after becoming terminal two years later. He said he has experienced severe pain recently and thanked fans for their support.
Garbutt asked the public to keep his wife, Louise Agnew, and their young daughter in their thoughts, and said his main hope is to secure their future. He reflected on his career achievements, including TV and film work, and cherished time with his family despite his illness.
