New Details Emerge About Hayden Panettiere’s Death
Actress Hayden Panettiere, 36, was found unresponsive inside a South Carolina rental on Sunday, August 16, with her on-again, off-again boyfriend Brian Hickerson and his brother Zach reportedly at the home.
According to reports, Zach discovered Panettiere unresponsive in a living-room chair while Brian was asleep in another room.
Emergency crews arrived around 1:50 p.m. and found her in cardiac arrest. Despite CPR and advanced life-saving efforts, Panettiere was pronounced dead at 2:32 p.m.
Early reports mentioned a possible overdose, and Narcan was reportedly found at the residence. However, officials have not determined that an overdose caused her death.
An autopsy reportedly found no trauma contributing to her death, and authorities said there were no signs of foul play. Toxicology results are still pending.
Panettiere and Brian had a complicated relationship dating back to 2018, including previous domestic violence allegations and several separations. They had reportedly reconnected privately before her death.
Her mother, Lesley Vogel, has since criticized Brian and said the family had tried to distance him from Hayden.
However, there is currently no official finding that Brian caused her death.
Panettiere’s official cause and manner of death remain undetermined pending toxicology results.
Rest in peace, Hayden. 🕊️
