Melania wore a bomber jacket and a white USA cap matching Donald’s red MAGA hat. Her “Top Gun”-inspired look drew attention, but her speech sparked mixed reactions—especially her greeting: “Hooyah, Navy.”
Though some praised the effort, others mocked it online, calling it “cringe” and “awkward.” One user joked, “Now she speaks Navy. She can add it to her list of languages.” Another wrote, “We are a goddamned sitcom.”
After the greeting, Melania continued, thanking sailors for their service and honoring their bravery and sacrifice.
