Tragic reports have confirmed more details about a man being called in for an emergency after discovering the remains of a late NBA star, Elden Campbell, whose body washed up on the shore of a Florida beach last week.
Campbell died last month during what his loved ones claimed was a fishing tragedy in Florida’s Pompano Beach. He was 57 years old.
A 911 audio call that was recently from TMZ heard a caller mention how he found something that appeared like a human body that had just washed up on the shore.
‘It appeared like a dead person on the floor’- the caller can be heard telling the 911 operator in that same audio clip.

Campbell’s remains were soon found by the cops next to a jet ski along the beach at about 8 pm local time, as shared by local media outlets. The retired NBA superstar was declared dead minutes after by first responders arriving at the scene. Meanwhile, a 911 dispatch call obtained by PEOPLE spoke about how first responders were sent to the beach at that moment for what was a case of cardiac arrest. The dispatcher goes on to mention that he was deceased.
