At least five people were killed and seven seriously injured in a shooting attack that took place at the hands of a Palestinian gunman in Jerusalem, paramedics and police shared.
Israel’s Magen David Adom ambulance services shared more details about the deceased, including identification of the dead as three men in their 30s and a female in her 50s, and one man in his 50s. Nine others were brought into the ER with serious gunshot wounds, and three more were covered with glass.

A security officer and a civilian returned fire and neutralized the situation involving the attackers. There was no immediate claim from any armed groups, but Hamas did appear online to praise the attack, sources shared.
